The New Zealand Maritime Museum is located right by our Downtown Auckland stop (Stop 1).

Through seven different galleries, find out how the first Polynesian people made the epic migration to Aotearoa, the early European exploration and settlement of New Zealand, right through to our modern-day yachting success.
Maritime Museum Sailings
Experience Auckland’s stunning Waitematā Harbour for yourself with a one hour sailing trip on board a heritage vessel, the Ted Ashby.
Sailing trips depart at 11.30am and 1.30pm, Tuesday – Sunday.
N.B. New Zealand Maritime Museum tickets are not available as part of an Explorer Bus combo.
